1. Zero Tolerance Anti-Spam Policy
Brooklyn Candle Studio maintains a strict Zero Tolerance Policy against unsolicited commercial email (UCE) and spam. Our infrastructure is engineered exclusively for transactional, system-triggered, and authorized B2B wholesale communications. Any attempt to utilize our routing nodes for bulk marketing campaigns will result in immediate API key revocation and permanent account termination.
2. Permitted Use Cases (Transactional Traffic)
The use of our API and SMTP relays is legally restricted to the following operational categories to maintain compliance with our upstream ISP SLAs:
- E-commerce Operations (D2C): Order confirmations, digital receipts, shipping notifications, and refund processing alerts.
- Security & Authentication: Password reset tokens, Multi-Factor Authentication (2FA) OTPs, and unauthorized login attempts alerts.
- B2B Wholesale Operations: Automated delivery of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), wholesale tier approvals, and inventory restock webhooks.
- Logistics (Burst Traffic): High-velocity system alerts triggered by third-party logistics (3PL) carriers (e.g., FedEx, USPS status changes).
3. Prohibited Content & Routing Restrictions
To protect IP reputation and ensure high deliverability of mission-critical alerts, the following types of transmissions are strictly prohibited on our infrastructure:
- Cold outreach or unsolicited B2B lead generation.
- Promotional newsletters, coupon distributions, or marketing campaigns of any kind.
- Lists purchased, rented, or scraped from third-party sources.
- Content related to affiliate marketing, multilevel marketing (MLM), or unverified financial services.
4. Enforcement, Rate Limiting & Auditing
We employ automated payload inspection to classify outbound traffic. While our infrastructure supports "Burst Traffic" for logistics webhooks, sustained anomaly detection (e.g., high bounce rates or spam complaints exceeding 0.08%) will trigger an automated routing pause.
Our Compliance Operations team (led by M. Dawson) conducts weekly audits of SMTP logs to verify that all traffic aligns with the transactional requirements stipulated in this agreement.
5. Security & Abuse Contact
If you believe a user of the Brooklyn Candle Studio infrastructure has violated this Acceptable Use Policy, please forward the full email headers and payload to our compliance team immediately.
